Spring is Here and it's Gorgeous!!!

One of my absolute favorite things about NYC is that when the weather starts warming up and the beautiful sun is shining, it feels like EVERYONE is outside and enjoying it as much as possible. As soon as the temperature passes 60 degrees, you can just feel the excitement, the joy, and the great energy. People are eager to get outside as much as possible, its awesome!

I've been taking advantage of the beautiful weather we are having by walking all around the city instead of taking the subway. Last night after a great dinner at my friend's place on w. 85th and Columbus, I decided to walk for a bit and ended up going all the way down to 42nd st. It hasn't been that long since I've been in the Time Square area, but I noticed so many changes, I was shocked! There seems to have been many closings of stores and restaurants and just as many new restaurants and stores in there place. It felt like I hadn't been there in years.

As I walked from block to block, I had so many memories come back to me of restaurants I had been to and buildings I've shown properties in, it made me realize just how many incredible memories I have of living in NYC. I also love that I've had wonderful experiences in so many different neighborhoods of NYC.

This morning I got an early start and I left the house around 7:30am and started walking to the office. I love being out and about this early in the morning! There is activity on the streets but it's still fairly quiet and I just love looking at all the beautiful architecture and walking down cobblestone streets while doing some window shopping. I was actually a bit surprised at how many people were in the cafes eating breakfast, taking their time and enjoying the morning. I passed a cute little cafe in Soho at 399 West Broadway (Broome St.) called Ground Support and decided to treat myself to a cup of coffee. I love finding new cute cafes! Here are some photos of it. If you are ever in Soho you should check it out. They also have some baked goods and sandwiches for lunch that sound delicious!

I hope you all enjoy this beautiful time of year and have a wonderful weekend with lots of Vitamin D!

I remember one time I walked from my apartment on 58th Street all the way down to the East Village and it was such a fabulous walk! This is my most favorite time of the year! It was 78 degrees today in Sonoma! Loved it!!!
